For the EAP783, on a 6Ghz network, the WPA-Mode encryption selection for WPA3-Enterprise encryption gives a choice between WPA3-Enterprise Enterprise only GCM-256 or WPA3-Enterprise Suite-B 192-bit CNSA encryption. This is good.

 

However on the 2.4GHz & 5GHz bands, and when any other band is simultaneously selected with the 6GHz band, the only WPA3-Enterprise option available is WPA3-Enterprise "AES" which is actually the much weaker WPA3-Enterprise Transition mode CCM-128 (CCMP) even with PMF set correctly. I've tested this.

 

Could WPA3-Enterprise only GCM & CNSA modes please be enabled for the other bands on the EAP783? The EAP783 is clearly capable of supporting the better encryption already. Thank you.

Good news arrives. We intend to include this feature in the firmware that adapts our V5.15 controller, though estimated release date is unknown.Please pay attention to our official website.
