Hi all.

Is it possible to configure a secondary drive via the USB to backup the default installed drive? Or does TP-Link offer cloud storage for replication or storage?

We came into a situation where the HDD failed after 3 months and we lost all of the recordings. I need to avoid this happening again.

I would appreciate any assistance.

Hi @bruskieZA

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

No cloud storage. Even if there is one, if possible, in the future, that'll charge you fees for the storage.

Cloud service is not cheap especially when cloud storage requires high bandwidth and large size of storage.

USB can be connected for backup storage. See the User Guide.

Or might consider dual-bay HHD? That's bad if the HHD fails.

  @Clive_A Thanks for this.

The backup to external drive would be perfect but I don't have that option.
