Height issue
I have a set of 3 CPE210's in an RV Park. Main office supplying internet for a DVR in 2 other bldgs. One bldg is about 1000 ft away and the other bldg is about 500 ft from the office. Office set as AP and each bldg set as client.
The system has been up and running without any issues for the past 20 months. It was accidentally shut down and required some troubleshooting as there was some confusion if the main AP was functioning. A new unit was purchased and programmed and installed on the roof.
Both existing clients reconnected automatically, however one is super slow now at 0.33 Mbps...basically useless. This unit is about 8 ft off the ground under some soffit on the bldg closer to the office. The farther bldg is actually working fine.
The main AP is about 35 ft high on the front side of the park on the roof of the office bldg.
Client on far bldg is also about 8 ft high under the soffit.
There’s a reasonably good signal between all 3 units.
Wondering if any new RVs in the park may have something to do with this and if so, should it just be raised higher? Settings are pretty generic. Very few changes made other than renaming and locking to AP mac address. Distance is set to .5 km. Maxstream is on, and on some other posts I’ve seen it said that maxstream is useless.
Could some other settings like, channel width or 802.11n or something else make any improvements?
I'd rather not get up on the roof and re-aim this thing.
I have screenshots of most settings on all 3 units if needed.
Looking for a little help here.
Thanks.
