Hi guys,

 

We have been installing EAP225-outdoor to provide internet access to some homes(one per home). We have been experiencing some issues with old TVs, or old devices where we can not have a web browser to open the hotspot web page, because of the lack of app store or another environment issue.

 

Thing is we would like to request the use of the hotspot webpage with a voucher with the capability of open the complete EAP225-outdoor, not only per device.And when the voucher expires to close the complete EAP.

 

This coud help us to manage residential customers.

 

I hope this could be done

You can create a WLAN SSID without portal authentication and connect those TVs and old devices to this SSID.

 Hi  @Vincent-TP,

 

We are using hotspot voucher timing to close connections to customers that do not pay in time, every month, but with old devices without browsers, this is impossible.

When I mean open or close EAPs is to open or close the connection when the voucher expire, but no per device, we think per EAP. This could help us,

1. Customers could join to the eaps all devices they want included devices that do not have web browsers.

2. We could manage customers per home and close connections to EAPs when they do not pay on time.
