Region : UnitedStates

Model : TL-R600VPN

Hardware Version : V2

Firmware Version :

ISP :

Need one that fills these requirements:
1. Gigabit WAN
2. Has NAT & SPI
3. Must work for Ubuntu or Debian (without kernel modds, compiling code, etc.)
4. Would prefer it to support 'jumbo frames' on the WAN, since my NIC does, even though I probably won't enable the feature.

I think TL-R600VPN fulfills all my requirements, but some of its specs are difficult to understand for a hardware newbie, so wish to ask for someone to check and make sure. Thanks.

Hi, Senex

It works. Kernel modds, compiling code are not required.

There is no information about jumbo frames on TP-Link TL-R600VPN Datasheet and User guide.
You can disable jumbo frames on your operation system. It will not add a big performance penalty.
