Hello i bought R480T+ router in India v6(latest) and connected everything as mentioned in manual. But the 192.168.0.1 admin page is not opening. What to do?

i am using Windows 7 ultimate SP1 on laptop.

my laptop doesnt have port to connect the console. Is this the reason why admin page is not opening?

Wan yellow light is blinking, yellow light below it. ISP connected to this WAN port.
LAN yellow light not blinking, yellow light below it.

No other port used.

i restarted my laptop several times, told ISP to reset MAC addr, disconnected and reconnected LAN wires, still the 192.168.0.1 is not opening. Plz help

Hi,

I am having the same problem with TL-R480T+ as well. Everything worked great out of the box and for about two weeks. However, after full configuration of the unit, I can no longer access the default 192.168.0.1 web admin. My IP on my computer is still at 192.168.0.100. I have tried to access from different browsers and from different computers on the network.

Similar problem with TL-R470T+

After setting up my TL-R470T+ router my network quickly ground to a halt with many slow/lost packets. Even pings were taking 100s of millisecs if they got through at all.

I removed the router from the network completely, reset it and added one directly connected LAN host. Now the router is almost bricked. It is pingable at 192.168.0.1 but provides no Admin web page. The Status light is flashing slowly (about one second on, one second off). Any suggestions other than returning this thing to Amazon?

Not that it should matter because I did a hard reset, but my original changes to the config included: DHCP with an address range in 192.168.188.x, about 20 reserved IP addresses, several active LAN clients and a non-DHCP wifi access point, and one WAN. As I said, all that should have been wiped out by the reset and the reset appears to have worked (at least to some extent) because the router's IP address did change back to 192.168.0.1.

Thanks for any help!
