Hi

I am trying to increase my DHCP range past 255 addresses, everytime i try i get the message "Operation Failed"

I really hope it can go above 255 addresses, as that's the reason i purchased the router!

regards
Mat

if your subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 then the max hosts for your subnet is limited in 255. it's in possible to set the DHCP range larger than that, may be you could have a try to shorter your subnet mask, 255.255.0.0?

Did you ever come up with a solution to this Matster? If so, I would be curious how you handled the issue.

Thanks!

This is my current problem too. I don't know how to handle this issue though. I'll probably be looking for other routers that can handle this situation.

Hi ruellesmith ,

The issue is not with the equipment. It is with the IP & Subnet Mask setup you are using. Your TP-Link router can handle this no problem.

Here is a nice thread about the options you can use to do what is required.

Hope this helps.
