TL-ER604W VPN connects but I am not able see any PC's on LAN
Region : UnitedStates
Model : TL-ER604W
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 1.0.0 Build 20130116 Rel.52243s
ISP : Comcast
I am able to connect to my VPN using a L2TP client to lan setup but I am not able to connect to any fileshares, ping any pc's on the vpn's lan, only thing I can do is connect to the router and routers management page... makes it pointless. PLEASE HELP. I have tried setting up routes, ect, to no avail.
I have also tried turning off the firewalls on both sides (client and router) added the L2TP ports through services, I have tried everything possible.... it just doesn't work.... It is really frustrating that TP-Link has not jumped in to help people who bought this product expecting it to work.
I even set up the vpn using Shrew soft and it has the same issues. Its obviously something wrong with the router. I have also set up a pptp vpn and it doesn't work either.... My ip ranges are correct. there is no conflict in my ranges...
