Model: ER7412-M2
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.0

I am switching from Zyxel Armor G5 router to ER7412-M2 router (controlled by OC200). I changed the default subnet on the router to 192.168.1.1/24 and router IP address to 192.168.1.1 (to match the existing network).

No IP6 enabled, didn't change default settings, just wanted to test. The Arris S33 modem has a 2.5 gb port, also tested on its 1 gb port. Everything else seems to work fine with the TP-Link router (e.g. router DHCP server assigns IP addresses).

The issue: The WAN 2.5 gb port on the router displays in the OC200 as down and no Internet inside my network. The Ethernet cable is CAT7 and works between Arris modem and the Zyxel router (up to 1.3 GB as provided by Comcast Internet).

I resolved the issue. The WAN link is now online and Internet working. It was a combination of hardware controller (which is more complex than stand alone setup) and the issue of replacing a router and DHCP server.
