Hey I installed switch outside my house "TP-Link 5 Port Gigabit Outdoor Smart Ethernet Switch" (SG2005P-PD) see https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0DCNZBHMY?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

I am powering the switch with Ubiquiti U-PoE++ Adapter. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0D8XH337X?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title (60W) 

When I contact one camera it works, but if I add another one then the new one is not working. I verified the issue is not the camera nor the cables.

Looking at the switch spec it should work. Each port give up to 30W and a total of 64W (minimum of 16W). from reolink website I can see that each camera consumes 12

Also the Ubiquiti U-PoE++ give 60W.

I upgraded to the latested version, but still the same issue.

I read your other post in that early report about the 2005P-PD PoE budget.

We tested with our 170S and the results were good for the whole time.

 

This might be a problem with their PoE controller(chipset). I think it would work out well with our 170S. Let's see.

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Do not have any other recommendations. It indeed looks like it is not getting enough power and shuts down when more PoE devices are connected.
Possible for you to get POE170S in your region? Recommend you use it.

We do not experience issues with our PoE++ unit as we tested this before. UBNT, we don't know. Nor did we test it.
