Hello. I have a network based entirely on TPlink devices. The VPN router is ER8411, there are several Omada series switches, such as SG3452X and SX3016F, and of course the Omada controller. There is a basic network and several VLANs set for groups of devices such as printers, VoIP phones, and WLAN networks. The company recently bought a Siemens fire control panel. I created a VLAN only for this control panel and wanted to connect to it using Cerberus software. When I connect while being in the company network, the control panel reports, but when I try to do the same by connecting using VPN, the control panel reports, I can enter the PIN to log in, but then the connection timeout occurs. I don't know what's going on? After connecting via VPN, the ping to the control panel works, I can possibly access the servers, but the connection to the control panel does not work.

I hope I wrote it understandably.

Piotr

Hi @MuppiPL

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Can you describe this with the IP specified?

Please provide a diagram as well, with IP specified.

And about the VLAN, you should learn about the differences between 802.1Q VLAN and VLAN interfaces.

Common Questions About 802.1Q VLAN
