Filtering multicast with TL-SG3216
Region : UnitedStates
Model : TL-SG3216
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I need help (an example config would be ideal) setting up multicast filtering per the product overview:
IGMP snooping ensures the switch intelligently forward the multicast stream only to the appropriate subscribers while IGMP throttling & filtering restrict each subscriber on a port level to prevent unauthorized multicast access.
I have no vlans configured, am running the default stock config. multicast requested by a device on one port is being sent to all ports. The multicast status page shows 0 for all counters.
How do I enable the filtering behavior, so just the group joiner will get the multicast packets?
