TL-R600VPN UPnP issues

I've been working with this model in getting UPnP (or port forwarding) to function with no luck at all. I probed the UPnP capable systems on my network, getting positive responses from all my hardware, EXCEPT the router itself.

I was able to use Virtual Server forwarding to establish things, but the UPnP I'd like to see functional for any future needs or requirements,
