Hi,

I have a newly installed TL-ER604W, and it is mostly working perfectly. The one issue that I am having with it is that if/when the ipsec vpn drops, it isn't automatically reconnecting. Is there anything specific I should be looking at? All the obvious settings look to be set appropriately.

Any advice appreciated :)

You got two ER604W?
As you said, when vpn connection drops, it doesn't reconnect automatically, but how did you re-establish the connection?

We are using a single ER604W in the office, connecting to a fortigate appliance provided by the people hosting our servers.

At the moment, I have to manually disable the ipsec profile and then re-enable it to bring the connection back up, which is bit of a pain.

DPD is enabled (and set to 30 secs), and obviously the rest of the settings are configured such that the vpn itself is able to run correctly until it falls over again
