how to set-up the wan if u have a Dial up modem router what connection u must use? please help me

If there is a modem router which has been configured to access internet plugged into WAN port of R480T+, you need to select Dynamic IP.
Besides, ensure there is no IP conflict between modem router and R480T+. For example, if modem router's IP is 192.168.1.1, change R480T+'s IP to 192.168.2.1.

can anyone see the problem in this pictures.

TL-R480+ ip. 192.168.0.1 subnet 255.255.248.0
dsl ip 192.168.1.1 subnet 255.255.248.0
having a connection of dynamic but it cant connect.. please help me..

Directly connecting to your modem, what's the IP address, default gateway, DNS obtained on your PC?
Is it a private IP or public IP? Try to select static IP in WAN connection type and use the same IP address, gateway, DNS as your PC.

my modem ip address is 192.168.1.1 the default getway is 192.168.1.1 DNS im using is 192.168.1.1 also

You can access internet indeed when PC is connected to your modem directly, right?
Can you check IP address on your PC? I'm not asking for your modem's IP.

so if my PC is connected in modem the ip is 192.168.1.3 then it is static in tcp/ipv4 gateway is 192.168.1.1. so ill use static then this will be the info?
