Doubt its coming - 7206 v1 is end of life and will likely only get security updates (if any) now

@GRL EOL?!?! Really :(. That is so frustrating - as I reached out to TP-Link before I purchased this device, and they directly confirmed that it would get the DNS update. So they outright lied to me? That's not cool. And now all I have is a boat anchor? Arrgh.

I didnt state anything as categorical fact - but this is the general sense of what has been posted on here recently about the v1.
It is absolutely true it is end of life though.

No worries, I think you are right! Just frustrating, after being committed to by TP-Link. I admit, I'd be less bothered if they offered a discounted trade-up program ... for example, give me something for my old HW, to upgrade to current :(.
