I have just installed a Festa F65 Wall AP.

 

I have two issues i would like to find solutions for.

 

1. When there is a power outage the Festa device disconnects, and I dont know of any other way to reconnect the device without doing a full reset. This is quite a problem as the power does go out here quite a bit in the summer months. 

 

Is there a way I can easily reconnect the device without having to do a reset on the AP? I can't find any other way where i can just reconnect the thing.

 

2. When using the Festa AP, Sometimes I use ProtonVPN and since I have started using the Festa AP, I cannot get an internet connection while the VPN is on. Is there any solution where I can easily get the ProtonVPN working?

Hi  @LTHCyberSec 

 

When you say full reset, do you mean factory reset the AP via the reset button? Please give us more details on how you reset the AP.

 

What device is the AP plugged into? A POE switch? Please let us know the model number of the switch.

 

For the other VPN issue, please start a new thread with the following info:

1. The affected clients; 

2. The topology of your network, including the VPN server.

3. The IP address of the client when the VPN is on.
