So, while looking into the ER8411 issue with 1.3.0 firmware (which support just confirmed), i spent a significant amount of time last night rebooting and factory reset / re-adopting my router trying to get it into the fauly state for your suport team to evaluate.

Two unrelated things i noticed on my OC300 / 5.15.20.38

- With pin-hole reset of the router, the controller doesn't always automatically re-adopt it when it comes back up in a factory reset state.  Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesnt.  When it does, it auto-adopts it within about a minute of the device showing Pending status on the list.  When it doesnt, i waited up to 20 minutes before clickign the adopt button.

Site Settings and Device settings are both set to "remember this device"

- DPI settings are sometimes kept, sometimes cleared for the site whether the router gets auto-adopted or it doesnt.   Not just disabled, but all rules are deleted and require being recreated.  But not always, happened about 50% of the 6 times i factory reset the router.
