Cp plus camera not getting connected in the TP link NVR 2016h
I'm encountering an issue with integrating my CP Plus E24A camera with the TP-Link VIGI NVR2016H. The camera, which supports ONVIF, is detected by the NVR under the same IP address (192.168.68.64) using the default credentials (admin/admin). However, upon connection, the camera does not stream video and displays a "Not Connected" status.
Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
-
Firmware Verification:
-
Ensured that the NVR is updated to the latest firmware version (1.2.1 Build 241227) released in January 2025, which includes enhancements for ONVIF compatibility.
-
-
Manual Camera Addition:
-
Attempted to add the camera manually via the NVR's web interface using the ONVIF protocol with the provided IP address and credentials.
-
-
Stream Settings Check:
-
Verified that the camera's stream settings (resolution and codec) are compatible with the NVR, which supports H.264 and H.265 codecs.
-
-
Network Configuration:
-
Confirmed that both the camera and NVR are on the same subnet with unique IP addresses to avoid conflicts.
-
Performed a ping test from the NVR to the camera's IP address to ensure network connectivity.
-
Observations:
-
The NVR detects the camera but fails to stream video, displaying a "Not Connected" status.
-
Disabling the substream on the camera results in the NVR showing "No Network Video."
