Model: CPE210
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 2.6.6

Have been testing a setup with two CPE210 to bridge two building about 113m apart. I don't have the possibility to place the units as high as I would like, and as seen from the map I don't even have a clear line of sight. However, it reached about 5 Mbit/s of speed with the CPE210, and that gives me hope I can get it to work in some way with a device with a stronger transmitter. I need about 50 Mbit/s.

What I'm wondering now is:

  1. Is it likely CPE610 will work worse than CPE210 because of lack of clear line of sight, or could it be worth trying?
  2. I'm also considering CPE510 or CPE520: I see they have a stronger transmission, but should I expect that that can affect my speed?
  3. Are there other devices in the TP-Link range that I could consider? It's unfortunately not possible to put a wireless repeater inbetween.

Thankful for any tips on this!

Hi  @994

Among our current product lineup, the **CPE710** offers the strongest transmission power and includes a Gigabit Ethernet port, which may also enhance performance.

However, since we lack details about:
- Obstacles between the two locations,
- Wireless interference in your specific environment,
we cannot guarantee that a single set of CPE710 will fully meet your needs.

Recommendation:
Purchase from a retailer with a flexible return policy. This way, if the setup doesn’t perform as expected, you can return the equipment.

@Vincent-TP  Yes, it's not possible to predict if it will work or not, but I'll definitely consider CPE710 if that's the strongest of your products for now.

Thanks for that!
