Hi @banel
For Festa devices, we recommend using the Festa controller to manage them, since there is very limited option under standalone itnerface.
Please check if the F52 has internet acces.

Hi @banel
First of all, our cloud data is absolutely secure, so you don’t need to worry about this issue.
Secondly, one of the key features of the Festa product line is cloud-based centralized management. And we don't have a plan to change it recently
If you prefer not to use cloud management, I recommend choosing an AP from the Omada product line, they have full management options under their standalone interface.
Thanks for your understanding.

@banel thanks for the post. This is my issue too.
The responses here from Vincent are the closest I've found online to it being admitted that the SSID and password cannot be configured through the standalone web interface.
The "very limited options" for configuration must refer to the ability to enable SSH terminal login... for further status interrogation.
It seems that the only way to configure the device is through the Festa cloud based controller.
As Vincent suggested if we want the ability to configure devices manually, we must use a different product.

good day
i also bought a festa line product, but it only works if there is internet, i need to use outdoor AP in a local area network (intranet) where there is no internet , if i buy an Omada series AP , it meets my needs
Otherwise what do you recommend
thank you very much

Hi @Noalese
Currently, the Festa product line only offers cloud-based festa controllers, which require the internet connection to maintain control functionality.
If you don't plan to use internet connectivity, we recommend opting for Omada products instead. For Omada products, we have On-Primises controllers, which can work without Internet access.

@banel Hi I have the same issue as I did not want to use the cloud but just add this to my TP Link home set up. I do feel its poor that you can not change the wifi name and password even when you use the controller and I get that there are diferent models for Business/Home etc but still feel it is a simple addition that should be included.
Always been happy with the TP link setups until this one. I am a basic home user with basic knowledge so the TP links have always been good for me.
