It states 4x Alarm out, and 6x alarm in.

but in all mentions it doesnt mention which 'alarms' ( ex. smokedetector ) you can use or the specs needed.

The industrial alarm uses pins.

The alarm can be any kind of alarm as long as it uses the pins and fits in.

I have never seen a person using a smoke detector alarm on this NVR. Usually it is an alarm system instead of a smoke detector.

VIGI NVR plus the alarm forms an alarm system.

I am not a pro in alarm system. There might be third-party alarm system which can also connect with the physical interface like that.

Without the NVR(or operating system), or the alarm device, it is not a complete and functional system.

There might be all kinds of alarms out there, and the interface is the industrial standard. There might be special interfaces, but our system follows the basic rules.
