Model: SG2210XMP-M2
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.10 Build 20250428 Rel.61524

I updated my firmware to 1.0.10 Build 20250428 Rel.61524 and have been getting constant warnings in the Omada controler (OC200) logs. Warnings are a mix of voltage low/high and temperature high for port 9 and 10 (SFP ports).

Rolling back to 1.0.6 Build 20250123 stoped the warnings from poping up.

  @Sarex

The new controller system added support to display information about the SFP module.

Both SFP+ modules are TP-Link SM5310-T (UN) v1.20

  @Clive_A Does that mean the SFP modules are faulty or that the threshold setting for the warnings are too tight? If it's the latter how do I change those settings?

The SFP seems to be auto-negotiated with these settings. It should not affect your daily use. It does not mean the modules are faulty or broken.

  @Clive_A

I'm having the same problem, since upgrade of switches/controller  constant SFP alerts,  + actual disconnects,   AP connected to SFP module using power injector gets disconnected

Port Temperature (°C) Voltage (V) DDM Status
Te1/0/9 103.6°C 3.211 V No data ready
Te1/0/10 102.1°C 3.209 V

No data ready

Port Vendor Part Number Type Connector   Model
Te1/0/9 TP-Link TL-SM5310-T(UN) Copper-SFP LC   10GBase-T RJ45
Te1/0/10 TP-Link TL-SM5310-T(UN) Copper-SFP LC   10GBase-T RJ45

10G RJ45 SFP modules are not recommended to be used without a slot in between.

See the Installation Guide of the modules.

1/0/9 No

1/0/10 Used

When you use them consecutively on the ports, that'll generate heat and will cause an alert like high temp. That might affect the speed if your ambient temp is high.

If you experience no issues, that'll be fine. You can ignore the logs.
