ER8411 - when adopted by Omada controller it loses all port forwarding and address reservations

Hi,
I've set ER8411 as standalone, with 67 address reservations and 56 virtual servers port forwarding.
I wanted to try Omada software controller and horror, all above settings were lost. Luckily, I had a backup so reset and restore.
There is any chance/possibility to keep all the above settings when moving the router under the Omada software controller management?
Thank you,

All configuration in stand alone will disappear when you adopt a device to the controller, it is not possible to migrate from stand alone to controller.

Thank you for the answer, but WOW :(
For address reservations there is an import/export option, probably it works, it would be nice at least something similar for port fw...

I agree with you. The same thing happened to me today. Port Forwarding (Virtual Server in Standalone Mode) doesn't have an import/export option. In my case, there weren't that many settings, but I was hoping that switching to Cloud Controller would preserve all the settings.
What could be the reason for the settings not being preserved if we want the router to continue performing the same functionality with the added benefit of being able to be controlled remotely?
It would be a much-appreciated feature, and if it's definitely not possible, at least a warning when enabling Cloud Controller. Thanks.

Adoption is one way. Any device when sucessfully adopted will be factory reset. Im fairly sure that all platforms do this - unifi, cisco, aruba etc
Its because the controller is designed to configure devices, and not devices configuring the controller
