Background:

 

This guide offers a guide on notification issues of the new VIGI VMS notification system.

As the new VMS system has a more granular notification system, you can set a person to receive notifications or a camera to push notifications. 

 

This Article Applies to:

 

VIGI App.

VIGI VMS.

 

Configuration Steps:

 

1. Choose your organization where your devices are located.

 

 

2. Click Event. Under the Regular Events, you have options to manage your Alerts.

 

 

3. You can create customized Alerts depending on what you need for each device and account in this organization.

Click the Create button.

 

 

 

4. As you can see pictures above have many granular settings.

In the Recipients settings, this is where you customize the push notification.

 

Make sure you turn on App Push Notification. Or you will not receive the notifications.

 

 

5. For other granular settings, based on your needs and create individually. For example, what time you want to be notified.

And name this customized alert entry.
