Hi everyone,

I’m facing this problem and hope someone can help me. I need to completely cut power to selected PoE ports. I’ve already tried the SG108PE and SG1210MPE, but I found that when setting a port to “disabled,” it only blocks network connectivity while leaving PoE power on.

My use case is turning off my PoE cameras when I’m at home. Currently, when I disable a PoE port via the switch’s web GUI, the cameras become inaccessible on the network but remain powered: the infrared LEDs stay on, the camera still tracks motion, etc.

So my question is: which switch models allow me to completely power off individual PoE ports? I need an 8-port switch with at least a 60 W PoE budget.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Cheers,
Giorgio

  @GiorgioAnd

SG2000 POE models can do that.

PoE can be managed.
