Hello, i have strange problem with Vigi NVR - When i connecting it remotely via web broswer (PC) and switch to "Playback" then i choose camera to play, it will be stuck on "Please wait" until it show only black screen.
Weird is it always will be stucked on 19:00-20:00 on replay bar no matter the camera and day. Very rarely it will work (+- 1 of 60 attempts) but then it will work normally.
I tested all 3 main broswers (chrome, edge, firefox) and it do not make a difference. I using remote connection to local network via wireguard VPN from my public IP (router to router), l also added substream recording (do not using it normaly) for minimal bandwith test but problem remain, it will be stuck on 19:00-20:00 mark on bar and do not progress further.
From Local network, PC will work without problems.
Using Vigi app on phone (with or without VPN) also work without problem (both main and sub stream).
Also have secondary DVR from hikvision and remote replay is working so bandwith seems not to be a problem.
Basicaly i dont know where to even look to troubleshoot or what is causing the problem. Any ideas what to do?
Including picture how it will be stuck until it propably timed out.
It works during other times, but will it be stuck from 19:00 to 20:00?
Or it does not work at all?
In your local, will it be possible to view the substream? That is to verify if the substream is okay to watch.
If you use a different software, try VLC or another player that can work with the ONVIF to test?
What are the cameras model?
Playback will not work at all (no partial video), on picture i send look on 19:40 (blue line), something like loading screen stuck on 80% and never load.
I testing it now and even on 10:20 (there is no more recorded files today, technically is 100% loaded) it will be stuck on "please wait".
If i switch on "Live View", both main and sub stream work without any problem, no video delay or skipping frames.
For another 5 days i can connect only remotely (no local testing possible) but before i wrote, in local network computer, playback was working with mainstream (bigger files) without any troubles, so far i can only assume sub stream will also work as it is smaller file source.
Connected cameras are 4x Tapo 520ws via ONVIF and STP cables (no wifi) to switch (TL-SG108) and that is directly to Vigi NVR, all have static IPv4. Main and Sub are both H.264 encoded. I tested zone changes as your second post but it make no difference. Otherwise devices show same time and also use same NTP (both routers, vigi NVR, cameras have only zones and PCs using it own time.windows).
Testing remote ONVIF connections: rtsp://10.xx.xx.xx:554/stream1 was positive on all 4 cameras, all streams worked.
To make it more transparent. a) Vigi NVR on local lan work as expected with all it functions
b) Vigi app and all functions on phone work flawlessly (local or on mobile data without or without VPN)
c) Vigi NVR connected remotely via VPN is fully accessible until you do Playback, in that case it will not work until rare instance where it is loaded, but when it is loaded i can look on any time window of that day. After i try to change HD to SD (and via versa), change day or reload the page it stuck again on please wait.
*Update: I testing now "playback" from local network and it is working Both Main and Sub stream without any problem and no delay.
