Frustration and griping cause this is way more complicated than it should be..

To put it plainly, decent documentation does not exist and so far, a firmware upgrade that gives me a loopback option in the web config also doesn't appear to exist or it has some  mythical name cause I checked every page and tab and couldn't find one with the word "loopback" in it.

People talk about there being a loopback option in the ER605 yet, no one ever shows a picture or explains where it is hidden so as far as I can tell, it's a fantasy setting.

I have a CIDR /29 block, I need to map these public static IP's to my local static IP's and I require loopback.

People say you can port forward for web but I would need to write several thousand rules to cover every port known to man for every IP because these are full servers and i highly doubt that the device could handle that many rules.

Firmware upgrade, I downloaded every version from the download page, every one of them is a V2 version and they fail to install on my V1.

TP-Link's response was simple, I could post questions on the forum as they couldn't help me with the product I just purchased which speaks volumes and even that wasn't easy with all this MODEL nonsense that doesn't recognize the ER605 as a valid model.

Since no sensible documentation exists and the way people cryptically talk about options and settings it's clear that only a secret society is capable of configuring these devices so I reach out to hire someone to configure the device to work as needed, if this device doesn't support this kind of configuration then in a nutshell, TP-Link misled me when they said this model would do what I need.

If you have experience with this product and want to make a little money for your time contact me, I'm sure we can work something out to our mutual benefit.
