Yours is in English, right? There is no newer firmware than 140113...

Hi Tony, I would like to upgrade it because, according to the "VPN_Config_Guide_V2", regarding setting up a VPN IP Address Pool on page 42 it reads (using the same color):

NOTE:
1)The IPaddresses in the IP Address Pool can onlybe in the same subnet with the VPNrouter’s LAN port in the latest firmware,and in the earlier version firmware, IP Address pool must bein the different subnet with the VPN router’s LAN IP address range.
2) If the IP addresses in the IP Address Pool is in the same subnet with the VPN router’s LAN port, the remote VPN clients can directly access the Internet. It’s recommended that the IP address range in the IP Address Pool do not overlap with the one in the local DHCP IP address pool. If not in the same subnet, it must configure an extra multi-nets NAT entry. Only in this way, the remote VPN clients can access the Internet via the VPN router in the headquarters. The following contents will respectively introduce the two situations.

So, for the VPN to be on the same subnet I need the "latest firmware". Firmware 140113 does not accept this.

mavengroup, no all I did was post here. The conclusion is not satisfactory and probably the next similar device that I specify will be of another brand.

OK. I put a ticket in with support since on one here on the user forums seems to have a clue....

I too would like to see an updated firmware to resolve this and some other little errors.

I just registered here for the same issue.

I found the site http://tp-link-support.de/firmware/TL-ER6120/

This site seems to be official.

There is a newer (?) Firmware "TL-ER6120v1_140212.zip" with binary "TL-ER6120v1_en_1.0.7_[20140212-rel41378]_up.bin" inside.

I tried to create a new thread about this issue, but it does not work. I reposted, no thread either.

Has anybody tried this 140212 firmware?

I won't test it, since I'm in Brazil and this firmware can break things here, but if someone try, please post here.
