Model: VIGI NVR1008H
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: Latest

I have imou wifi camera which only support h264.

But I am getting option to set encoding to h264+ in nvr stream setting. My question is how is it possible to h264+ encoding when camera does not support for it.

Please clarify.

Also I have other imou camera with h265 encoding and I see option to set it to h265+ in nvr. Which seems to be not possible.

One thing to clarify I firstly seen this option when I open the nvr setting by vigi vms. Now I can access it by web url also

  @Rahul_

Consult with your vendor about whether they have later firmware that supports H.264+, yet they have not added this information to their official website or datasheet.

This could happen as they upgrade the firmware and make it compatible with later NVRs.

Or the NVR only offers this option as it detects that the IPC can only provide H.264+ format.
