Model: VIGI NVR1004H-4P
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.4 Build 241024 Rel.75379n

Hello,

Using a C340I camera with an NVR1004H-4P and the VIGI mobile app for Android here.

In the mobile app, under "Device > NVR > Dashboard", there are 2 icons labelled "One-tap Arming" and "One-tap Disarming". I decided to try, so I headed over to the settings of my NVR to enable the disarming functionality: I went to "Settings > Event > Disarming", enabled "Disarming", and selected "Push notifications" as being able to be disarmed, and finally I pressed "Save". Then, I opened my VIGI mobile app, and tried the "One-tap Arming" and "One-tap Disarming" buttons. I triggered a few events to test (I passed by in front of the camera to trigger the alarm).

My conclusion is that these two buttons are ineffective. The push notifications are sent or not sent, solely depending on the NVR settings, i.e. the actions checked in the "Processing mode" list, at the bottom of the event configuration tab (where you decide what alarms to trigger when an event occur), in your NVR settings (for instance in "Settings > Event > Smart Event > Vehicle Detection > Processing Mode > Triggered Action"). To my knowledge, this is the only place that enables/disables push notifications, and the "One-tap Arming" and "One-tap Disarming" buttons of the Android mobile app have no effect over triggered actions.

Do I understand the purpose of these "One-tap Arming" and "One-tap Disarming" buttons the wrong way? Have they been implemented fully? Are they legacy widgets that used to work, but have been planned to be removed? Do they only work with certain pieces of hardware?

If you can confirm they don't work, can you forward my message to the Android app development team, please?

Thank you!

  @calande

Does your device support one-tap arm/disarm?

As I see that there are not devices included.

In the meantime, you should turn on the NVR notifications. And then one-tap arm or disarm would be effective. This controls the system notification push. If you have already disabled the events and other contents that should be pushed to your phone, the arm and disarm would take effect.

I don't know, it is not mentioned in the specs... I guess so, as I was able to add my camera to the Arming/Disarming function of the mobile app...

My bad... I should have mentioned it... I had just removed my camera from the Arming/Disarming function of the mobile app before taking the screenshot. But earlier, when I did the tests, the camera was in the device list.

Alright. I did a quick test again, I followed the instructions, but no matter the state of the One-tap Arming/One-tap Disarming buttons, this has no effect here... I have the same problem as these two users who noticed that "the notifications do not get disabled on disarm"... It looks like not many people use this functionality to date. I wish I could make it work...
