Hello,

I’m using the NVR1108H-W and have set up my network as follows:

Modem → Router (192.168.0.1) → NVR1108H-W LAN port, network cameras, PC, etc.

With this setup, the NVR successfully detects the cameras, and the PC has normal internet access.

However, the problem is that the NVR itself cannot access the internet.
If I connect the router to the NVR’s WAN port, the system reports an error because the WAN and LAN interfaces are on the same subnet.

Is there any solution to this issue?

If it reports the WAN and LAN are on the same subnet, you need to reconfigure one of the devices to avoid the same subnet. 

Then test it again. 

 

Or if you connect it to the LAN port, make sure the NVR is properly set with the IP parameters. The default gateway has to be the router IP address. Then test it again.
