Firmware too old

A search online is showing the lastest firmware version to be 5.0.3 which is completely different to what I have any I cannot for no love of money update this. Can someone please shed some light on this

Thanks for your response. It would appear that yours truly did not select the right version from the drop-down menu.
As soon as I realised this I was able to find the correct version and also changed regions as I was initially on the US site and I am in the UK.

@WonderMike It would appear that the EAP225 is version 3 and the OC200 might be version 1.

What's the region of the EAP225? Please share a screenshot of the Device page of your controller.
Which country are you located in?
Did you check the latest version from TP-Link official website?

I did indeed and they controller and access point are not talking to each other.
Next task is to venture into managed switches............I hear myself say
