Cluster support

Hi,
Will tp-link be adding controller cluster support to ER7206v1 and EAP772v1?
Would appreciate a simple yes or no answer to
assist with buying decisions.
Thank you

Cluster mode is about the controller, not for a single device. Cluster mode has been supported on the controller now. The controlled device should be able to be used under cluster mode.
Not very sure what you mean by cluster mode for the single device. Or you can consider posting this on the controller page.
If you have more to add, feel free to explain.

Thanks for the response, however in all honestly why did you when you clearly have little knowledge of the product and as a result are providing incorrect detail
A device needs to have the appropriate firmware in order to be supported for software controller cluster.

1. Go to the controller page and ask about this cluster mode. You posted it on the general discussion page. As far as I know, the cluster mode in controller mode has been supported.
2. ER7206 V1 is EOL, and we don't have information about the future firmware release for it if that answers your question about the ER7206 V1.
3. I know that this is a mode on the controller and is already supported. I have never read any release notes on the router regarding the cluster mode support. However, that's the reason why I commented that this has nothing to do with the router firmware. You can find a release note for me which has written the cluster mode as the keywords. I posted the early access firmware, but I never saw such a note in any of the releases.
Same thing for the controller and the Omada router I hosted, I don't read the page or the release notes for the router to support the cluster mode.
4. You can go to the EAP page and ask about the EAP. I am not responsible for the EAP or controller products. So I am not sure about them.
