Please help, I cant seem to find an answer at all..

I have a TL-R470T+ v4.0 1.0.0 Build 20141208 Rel.36359s configured and working almost as desired with to WAN gateways (1 x ADSL & 1 x LTE)

LAN IP of TL-R470t+ (10.0.0.5)

WAN1 IP 10.0.1.10 with Gateways 10.0.1.1 Router plugged into this port is configured with IP 10.0.1.1
WAN2 IP 10.0.2.10 (Subnet 255.255.255.0) with Gateways 10.0.2.1 & Router plugged into this port is configured with IP 10.0.2.1

I can get access from my LAN to both these routers interfaces and internet works great.
Problem is this: Both 10.0.1.1 and 10.0.2.1 are also Wi-Fi Routers with DHCP disabled. I was simply expecting to somehow route back to my LAN while connected through Wi-Fi to one of these routers but it does not. While Connecting via wireless to 10.0.1.1 I cant access 10.0.2.1 even if i change the IP of the 10.0.2.1 to 10.0.1.2 (to same subnet). Although this may seem logical to you, to me its a mystery. So basically, I just want to use those 2 WAN routers as Wi-Fi routers too and be able to access my LAN. With DHCP disabled, I cant access anything. When I enable DHCP on lets say 10.0.1.1 with DHCP range 10.0.1.50 to 10.0.1.100 then I am able to get internet but no LAN access. And I am sure to the knowledgeable guy out there this also seems logical.
How do I make my Wi-Fi routers plugged into the WAN ports of TL-R470T+ still access the LAN?

Well first of all if you'd buy a cheap DSL modem for WAN1 to replace that router, you might reuse your WiFi router as accesspoint in your "inner" LAN, DSL WAN1 could be operated as "PPPoE / Russian PPPoE".

Next, your firmware is really old - if it is hardware version V4 you might download it here http://www.tp-link.com/en/download/TL-R470T%2B.html

And then:

I guess it is logical why you can't route an entire subnet through another subnet because all the routers use NAT. I think you might add a portforwarding rule to your TP-Lnk main router so you might reach one distinct service on one machine in your LAN (or more) from one of the "middle subnets" but you'll have to set one rule per service. The main router does not know what to do with a packet that is not addresed to itself: Network address translation works only from the "inside" out, not from the outside in.

I don't know if that works, but there might be a chance if you can set a special route, but I might be wrong.. good luck!

Thanks Ande... I think your suggestion of using a low cost ADSL modem is the best option... same for the LTE router... Thanks for your time.

You're welcome -

I don't know of a LTE modem with LAN connection and I wouldn't assume they speak PPPoE, so you might have to stick with that router as it is now..

In the end I just disabled the wi-fi functionality of the routers on the WAN ports and bought 2 inexpensive new wi-fi's, much easier. Thank you.
