Hi  @Rametsi

This is because the EAP had been managed before. You need to input the created account at that time to adopt it successfully.

If you can't get that account, the fastest way is to factory reset the EAP and the account will turn to the default admin/admin.

Reset the EAP: with the EAP powered on, use a pin to press and hold the reset hole for about 8 seconds until the LED flashes green-red-yellow to factory default settings.

@Vincent-TP Hi Vincent, I have reset my AP, but It couldn't flash to green, red, or yellow. However, I assume it has reset to the default factory settings.

I reinstalled the Omada software from scratch, following the installation wizard and created a new username and password for my device. The adoption failed again.

I frustrated and have no idea what to do again.

Hi  @Rametsi

If you had successfully reset the EAP, the LED status will change, at lease it should flash.

If you didn't see any change on the LED, please try to reset it again.

Please confirm you felt the reset button being pressed during the process - there should at least be an audible "click" sound.
