Model: Festa FS308GP
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hello,

I currently have FS308GP switches and, following some renovation, I will need another switch. Whilst the FS308GP will work, it won't have any spare ports so I am considering an FS310GP and making use of the SFP ports for the uplinks/downlinks.

Is it possible to link the FS310GP and the FS308GP using an SFP port on the 310GP with the TL-SM331T and a standard Cat 6 ethernet cable or do I need SFP ports on both ends of the link?

TIA.

  @Mr_Orange

On the SFP side, use an SFP-to-RJ45 module, and you connect a regular Ethernet cable to link them together.
