WLAN on Gateway
Hi,
Having bought the FR365 wireless gateway, I expected to be able to use it as a wireless access point. When I set up a WLAN and only select EAP, that WLAN is not available to use on the FR365, as shown below:
The WLAN group shown above contains 5 different WLANs and yet none are available to the FR365 Gateway.
If I select EAP and Gateway, the functionality seems to be downgraded, if I am to understand the following error message correctly:
Why does assigning a WLAN to the gateway reduce functionality of that network? What's the point of having wireless radios built into the gateway if they don't offer the same level of service as the access points?
It seems as though I would have been better off saving money and buying the FR205?
Have I missed something here?
