OMADA - supported device list

Guys
I am struggling to find clear guidance as to the support postion for TP-Link devices by the current Omada management options.
I have found a site that attempts to provide guidance, but as there are so many hardware and software variants in the TP-Link range (even within switches, let alone APs) there does not apear to be a concise guide.
Can anyone confirm if there is an easy way here? I was hoping some kind souls would have a spreadhset with devicename/hardware/software version and a note of Controller version tested with...is there such a thing?
If not, what do people do when planning an Omada deployment project? Not every company has the budget to simply replace working kit just to get centraliised managment....
Many thanks in advance for any guidance.
David

Hi @URL
Nope, the T2600G-52TS V2.0 doesn't support SDN Omada controllers management.
Below is a link for TP-Link SDN Omada products:
https://www.omadanetworks.com/en/business-networking/all-omada/#soho-smb-switch-access
It's not in the list. And it's old, also end-of-life.

Hi @URL
Thanks for posting here.
The TP-Link official website hosts comprehensive documentation for all product lines, which may appear extensive at first glance. To better assist you, please share your specific plan with me—I'll be happy to provide tailored recommendations. Your plan should include the following details:
-
What primarily interests you about Omada? Is it the centralized management, cloud management capability, or other features?
-
What kind of controller you are planning to use?
-
Regarding your network scale:
- Approximately how many client devices?
- Will there be sustained high-bandwidth usage?
- What's your total available bandwidth?
-
Are there any mandatory functional requirements? Such as:VPN support, Captive portal authentication, or else?
-
Client distribution:
- Primarily wireless or wired clients?
- For wireless clients, what approximate coverage area is needed?
In the meantime, you may get some hints from some typical solutions below:

Hi - and thanks for the reply.
We already use Omada for APs and know our way around.
So, a specific question then...
We have a good number of T2600G-52TS V2.0 , which also state TL-SG 3452 V3.0
Is there a link that confirms these are supported by Omada?
I have tried to follow the following links:
https://www.tp-link.com/en/omada-cloud-based-controller/product-list/
https://support.omadanetworks.com/en/document/13197/
The above references suggest the switch should be supported, but the version variances concern us.
I have also read that depending on the firmware loaded, the names and versions reported change...so adding to confusion.
Thoughts?
