Why is there a default LAN on new and adopted sites without a gateway?
Basically, i realised that there is no need for the Default LAN to be present in the network list on sites that do not have a gateway adopted. It is completely superfluous and interferes with trying to logically assign vlan lists (for switch only vlans or vlans for switch profiles etc)
Is there some reason this is always there and cannot be removed if there is no gateway present?
For example - here i have a site with just a single ES series switch adopted, with some switch only vlans made to filter and control my incoming multiple WAN IPs by tagging them before they connections get to the ER8411 (dont ask, i just need this). This default LAN has no function or use on this site at all.
Plenty of other people have sites with just EAPs adopted to manage consistent SSIDs and portal settings across sites. Again, these do not need the default lan always present.
If there was a way we could delete or hide it that would be great - probably the best option (still allows people to preconfigure the default lan before gateway adoption)
Alternatively i dont think its terribly hard to code an extra bit of logic on this page
Does gateway exist >
YES [SHOW DEFAULT LAN]
NO [HIDE DEFAULT LAN]
