Cannot find EAP613 v1 AU firmware to downgrade

Model: EAP613

Hardware Version: V1

Firmware Version: 1.5.3

I bought a EAP613 here in Australia. The box and the label at the back of the AP says EU/1.0. When it is adopted to my omada controller, it is listed as EAP613(AU) 1.0. Recently, I upgraded the firmware through the controller. Since I have experienced issues, I want to downgrade the firmware. All I have are the EU firmware. When I tried to downgrade, the controller says the file is invalid. All 1.5.0, 1.4.4 and 1.4.3 give same error. The I tried to forget and reset the AP to make it in standalone mode. Same error "the firmware is incompatible". Anywhere I can find a compatible firmware?

It is a mess here in Australia. They first start selling US version APs with all sort of compatible issues with 5G channels, Then they sell the EU version. Now they come up with the 'hidden' AU version without proper support!

By the way, EAP610 comes up as AU version as well. Haven't come around to try downgrading it. I am expecting the same results.

Thanks for posting here.

What issues you've encountered after the upgrade? We recommend first contacting Support to address any problems with the new firmware. Downgrading should only be considered as a last resort.

@Vincent-TP The network issues I encountered is another matter. The fact that I can't downgrade is unacceptable especially when the hardware has been deployed and the firmware was upgraded through the official Omada platform. You think the user can wait for your support's reply while the whole office's WiFi is out of action? Don't deflect the issue of unavailability of firmware for the product being sold through offiical channels.

I definitely will create another thread to raise the issues with EAP610/EAP613. It seems problem with these models and I have to replace all of them with EAP620HD and the problem just went away.

My primary goal was to help you resolve the issue first. There’s no intention to disregard your feedback about the non-downgradable firmware.

Would you mind sharing a screenshot of the upgrade failure error message?

Was trying to upload three more screenshots but suddenly it stopped working and gave me 403 error:

Edit: The system seems okay now. screenshots added.

1. Device label showing EU/1.0

2. When the device is adopted to the omada OC200 controller, it shows as EAP613(AU) v1.0

3. When trying to do custom firmware upgrade through the omada OC200 controller with the same file as above, the error is 'BC-07-XX-XX-XX-XX upgrade failed. The upgrade file is invalid. Please select a correct file.
