Hi there. I want to send WiFi from a TP-Link EAP225-Outdoor Dual Band Wireless Indoor / Outdoor Access Point to a TP-LINK EAP673-EXTENDER  Ax5400 then use the Ethernet as an outlet to a 8 port switch.
is that possible with the extender?

Hi  @Steve2285

Yes.

To be sure, the topology would be like as below:

Internet source---Wired---EAP225-Outdoor)))wireless(((EAP673-extender---wired---switch.

Side note: if you haven't get any device, I would recommend replacing EAP225-outdoor with a wifi6 outdoor EAP. such as EAP610-outdoor.

Hi  @Steve2285

EAP610 ceiling mount indoor or EAP610-outdoor?

If outdoor, yes, it's easy, you can configure the second EAP610-outdoor as repeater mode:

How to configure Omada EAP in Repeater mode

If the indoor unit, you will need a controller to build a mesh for the two EAP units.

  @Vincent-TP

hi Vincent. Sorry but that link was about wireless repeater only. I couldnt find what I'm trying to do.
I'll explain what I'm trying to do. I want to use one of the outdoor AP's to send WiFi 200 meters to another device which will then plug into a PoE switch. Offthe PoE switch will be  4 security cameras. I don't want the EAP as a repeater I need to be able to plug it into the PoE switch. Is that possible?

Hi  @Steve2285

Yes. It's possible with two outdoor EAP units.

However, based on your scenario, I recommend EAP outdoor bridge KIT products instead.

They have directional antennas, which should provide a more stable wireless connection.
