Good day!

I have a set of EAP 650 access points managed by OC200 controller. For some APs I applied DFS channels. Randomly I've got information that clients are disconnected from the network for a short period of time. I suspect such can happen because AP working on DFS channel change it as a radar detected (as I understand it is the nature of DFS channels). So the question is whether it is possible somehow to get a history of changing wifi channels per each AP? It would be very helpful to see such information having clear picture how often and when appropriate AP was changing its channel.

Thanks

Best regards

Hi  @SMARTWAY

We don't have a report or chart to record this separately.

But you can monitor this by the following:

1. Make sure the following option is enabled;

2. Search related logs in the Logs page, you will see the date&time of each channel change.

Hi! Many thanks for the help.

Such option was already enabled but nothing is found in the logs. I assume it is because neither Webhook nor Email was chosen as a method of notifications. So now I marked both options for such event.

Hi  @SMARTWAY

If you don't use email notification, Email is not needed. Webhook is required.
