Thanks for posting here.

 

Currently, we don't have a gateway that has 2.5G SFP WAN port. But only 10G SFP(such as ER7412-M2), or 2.5G ethernet WAN port(such as ER707-M2).

Im talking about HSGMII support or something similar.

So i can connect an 2.5 gpon sfp module to an regular wan sfp port but so i get the full speed without slow downs and to use the sfp+ port for a second faster connection.

you can use a media converter (2.5g to 10g SFP+) for somethign like ER8411 as well - its only that they cant negotiate the 2.5g port speed, if you get it converted it will happily accept the data at 2.5g though
