Model: OC300
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hello Team,

I’m facing an issue with client statistics not displaying on my Omada OC300 Controller.

Setup Details:

  • Controller Model: OC300

  • Firmware Version: 1.30.7 Build 20250704 Rel.78617 (Stable)

  • Controller Version: 5.15.24.21

  • Devices Managed: ER8411 v1.0, SG2210MP v5.0, SG2428P v5.30, EAP245(US) v3.0, EAP610-Outdoor(US) v1.0

  • Total Clients: 300+ Clients

Issue Description:

The Client Statistics page under Insight → Client Statistics and the per-client data (e.g., total usage, top clients by traffic, etc.) are not displaying any data.
Clients are connected and visible under the Clients tab, but no history or usage graphs are being recorded or updated.

Troubleshooting Done:

  1. Verified that all devices (APs, Switches, Router) are adopted and online.

  2. Checked Deep Packet Inspection.

  3. Tried restarting the controller and clearing browser cache.

  4. Tested with both cloud access and local controller login.

Still, the issue persists — no client usage or history data is visible.

  @KMCH

Unfortunately, the OC200 does not support the client statistics you are requesting. In terms of hardware controllers, it is supported on the OC400 only.

Hi NeilR_M Thank you for quick response, before going to purchase OC400, I just need one confirmation from you that, in which of the following I do get more advanced analytics 1. Hard ware controller (OC400) 2. Software controller 3. Cloud controller Thank you

@KMCH All of those will have the advanced analytics; the difference lies in the use case:

  • Hardware controller (OC400) is a one-time purchase that you would be responsible for maintenance.
  • Software controller is free but requires a separate device (Server VM, PC, etc.) running at all times to have constant management
  • Cloud controller (specifically, Omada Cloud/Central Standard) requires a license per network and per device for the more advanced features, but has the advantage of uptime without maintenance on your end.
