Hi,

I hope I can get some help here with setting up my network. I've already spent many hours trying, but it just won't work properly.

Here's the situation:

Fritzbox in front of an ER605 v2, behind which is an SG2428P v5.20 and 1x EAP655-Wall(EU) v1.0, as well as 2x EAP653(EU) v1.0

An Asterisk server with FreePBX is connected to port 16 in VLAN 1. My Wi-Fi is in VLAN 40. The VoIP doorbell is also in VLAN 1 and connected to Asterisk via VoIP.

Now I want my mobile phone, which is in VLAN 40, to ring when someone rings the doorbell. It does ring, but neither the audio nor the video works.

If I connect my mobile phone to a temporarily set up Wi-Fi network in VLAN 1, then it works perfectly.

Apparently, the RTP packets aren't getting from one VLAN to the other.

I've already tried working with port profiles (e.g., https://www.tp-link.com/de/support/faq/4085/). Unfortunately, I'm quickly reaching my limits and would appreciate some assistance.

SIP ALG is enabled (checked box). As soon as I disable it, SIP calls via the Fritz!Box stop working. My regular phones are connected to it.

Hi  @NightWatcher

Thanks for posting here. Did you configure mDNS for the two VLANs?

mDNS (Multicast DNS) Repeater can help forward mDNS request/reply packets between different subnets/VLANs. With this function, you can create a forwarding rule to allow the devices in the specified Client VLAN to discover the mDNS service in the specified Service VLAN. You can also specify the services to be forwarded.

Below is a config guide:

How to Configure mDNS on the Omada Controller

The interface is from the old controller interface, but the steps are the same.

Below is the config page for the latest controller:

@Vincent-TP Hi and thanks for your reply. No, I haven't. Unfortunately, I also wouldn't know which Bonjour service I should use for RTP packets.

Hi  @NightWatcher

What kind of Doorbell are you using? You may get it from the its support.

@Vincent-TP The Doorbell is from Dahua. But shouldn't the problem be the RTP packet from Asterisk to the smartphone? The doorbell and the Asterisk server are in the same VLAN.
