I'm still seeing the bug mentioned in https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/748474 - the thread is locked, but I'd like to know when the fix is scheduled to roll out?  Thanks!

Hi  @p2b

Thanks for posting here.

Is your situation the same as the original poster’s? If possible, could you share your specific mail server configuration? Better with some screenshots.

May I ask which specific email service you’re using, such as Google, 163, or Outlook? Also, what specific behavior led you to determine that it was sent using the username? By default, our system sends emails based on the sender address.

Monday

@Vincent-TP I'm not sure if my setup is different - but my SMTP service (brevo) is blocking the email from being sent due to the "from" address being the same as the SMTP server.  I've attached a sensored screenshot of my settings - note my "from" email is *not* the same as my SMTP server username.

And because I don't own the SMTP server username domain, it gets rejected.  I've attached my anonymised config, as well as the error message reported from brevo:

Sending has been rejected because the sender you used xxxxxxx is not valid. Validate your sender or authenticate your domain
