Model: CPE510
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

Hello,

I have a CPE 510 that I want to use as a repeater fomr my home wifi as I have several blind corners.

I have made sure to decouple the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal from my modem and renamed the 5GHz. I can see them separtely on my phione now.

When I enter the Quick Setup in the CPE page and run the Survey to locate my main network, it cannot find any avaible networ. Is there any other setting I need to take care of?

Thanks

Hi  @monviso

Thanks for posting here.

This is most likely because the wireless channel supported by the CPE differs from the channel of the SSID broadcast by your router.

You can first try configuring the CPE in AP mode—on this interface, you can see all the channels supported by this CPE.

Then, manually set the main router’s SSID to a channel supported by the CPE, and it should be discoverable.

Additionally, pay attention to the placement of the CPE, ensuring that its front side faces the main router.
