Model: EAP215-Bridge KIT
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.2 Build 20241209 Rel. 43851

Hi Everyone,

Please be so kind to assist.

If I remember it correctly, before we can do  moving of bridge kit from one site to another.

two sites are in one controller btw.

However, the option is no longer available now.

Only Access Points has the Move to Site option.

No option available for Bridgekit.

Hi  @YBWCLI

Thanks for posting here.

Since Bridge APs are usually deployed in pairs, currently, the “move to site” function is only supported on the Bridge Group page.

Hi  @YBWCLI

Sorry for accidentally missing this message.

This operation is indeed possible, but it requires managing these three devices under the same site in the controller. This will not affect other settings.

Why do you need to manage them under different sites? Is it for better differentiation? I suggest distinguishing them in other ways, such as through naming.

  @Vincent-TP

Hi!

Thank you for your response.

Following the guide, i saw the settings.

However, i have a question, is it possible to have a move-to-site option for each device regardless if it's a pair or not?

Please feel free to correct me if i'm wrong but we can't have the Receiver and Transmitter on one site right?

For instance, our receiver is on Site 2, while our transmitter is on Site 1.

It would greatly help us if the previous option would be restored.

If i remember it correctly, i can separate the pair before.

Hi  @YBWCLI

Thanks for the reply.

No, we can't put a bridge KIT into two separate sites. They must be in the same site. .

Why do you need it? You may describe your scenario briefly, and we will recommend accordingly. Thanks.
