Voucher Printing & Pattern Workflow Improvements Requested
Firstly, I would like to express my appreciation to your development team for the excellent work on the official release of Omada Controller Version 6. Our customers are very satisfied with the improved GUI, the more comprehensive feature layout, and the modern UI design. The updated Hotspot Manager is also well-received, especially the new voucher print layout.
However, we would like to report two issues and suggest improvements for future updates:
1. Voucher Frame Printing Issue (Cut Line Too Faint)
Although the voucher layout design is excellent, the voucher frame/cut line appears very faint and gray when printed. This makes it difficult for users to clearly see the cutting line and accurately separate the voucher pieces. We kindly request improving the contrast or darkening the voucher frame in the print output so that the cut lines are visibly clearer.
2. Voucher Pattern Repetition Issue (Suggested “Use Last Pattern” Checkbox in General Step)
During voucher generation, users must configure:
-
Step 1: Vouchers General
-
Step 2: Vouchers Pattern
The system currently requires the Pattern step every time, even when the user already configured a pattern previously. To improve workflow efficiency, we suggest adding a “Use Last Pattern” checkbox directly in the Vouchers General step.
Proposed Behavior:
-
If the user checks “Use Last Pattern”, the system should automatically apply the previously saved pattern and skip the Pattern step entirely.
-
The final print layout, including background and design, should automatically use the last pattern.
-
If the user does not check the box, the system should proceed to the Pattern step normally, allowing the user to configure a new pattern.
This enhancement would significantly reduce repeated steps and streamline the voucher generation process for users who use the same pattern frequently.
We sincerely appreciate the continuous improvements made by your development team and hope these suggestions can be considered in a future update. Thank you again for your excellent work and support.
Best regards.
